Al Rawabi Dairy company drives sustainable farming through renewable energy, efficient waste and water management, odor control, and environmental compliance. Guided by ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 50001:2018 standards, our operations ensure efficient, eco-friendly practices across the farm. Aligned with our vision for sustainable agriculture, over 20% of the farm is dedicated to green spaces, including ghaf, date palms, and damas trees. These plantations enhance climate resilience, improve animal welfare, and contribute to carbon offsetting by capturing CO\u2082 and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.<\/p>\n

Al Rawabi Biogas Power Plant \u2013 Pioneering Sustainable Energy in the GCC<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Al Rawabi\u2019s Biogas Power Plant, established in 2021 with a capacity of 1.3 MW, is the first of its kind in the GCC region. The facility treats up to 200 tons per day of organic waste generated on the farm\u2014including livestock manure, expired milk and juice, sewage sludge, and agricultural residues\u2014to produce biomethane as a clean and renewable alternative to fossil fuels. By capturing and converting methane emitted from cow manure into biogas, the facility plays a crucial role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Methane has 80 times greater atmospheric impact and 25 times the global warming potential of CO\u2082, making its recovery and utilization a significant step toward climate protection. This innovative system also helps reduce Al Rawabi\u2019s carbon footprint by approximately 1,500 tons of CO\u2082 per year. The project fully aligns with Federal Decree-Law No. (11) of 2024 on the Reduction of Climate Change Effects, reaffirming Al Rawabi\u2019s commitment to the UAE\u2019s national sustainability and decarbonization goals.<\/p>\n

Al Rawabi Solar PV Plant<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Al Rawabi has implemented a major renewable energy initiative through a Solar PV Plant under Shams Dubai, boasting a capacity of 1 MW. This solar facility provides clean, sustainable energy to multiple operations across the farm, reducing reliance on conventional electricity and further supporting Al Rawabi\u2019s commitment to sustainable energy solutions and carbon footprint reduction.<\/p>\n
